| Palm Springs for Gay Men: The 2001 Mr Nude Pride Contest |
As an adjunct to the 2001 Greater Palm Springs Gay Pride celebration the All Worlds Resort
arranged for a contest aptly named the 2001 Palm Springs Mr Nude Pride Contest. It was not affiliated with the big event, but it was a big event in its own right. CCBC had started the idea of Mr Nude This or That, in particular Mr Nude Palm Springs, a few years ago. Now the AWR has started with their own nude shows, not only contests but weekly nude barbeques and other events of that nature. We could not be happier.
What we could be happier with is our picture quality -- in fact, we are ashamed of it. CCBC had strong stage lighting and our camera coasted nicely on it. And we thought that we could do the same thing at AWR. So we used no flash, and shock and behold when we saw what we had done! We will be better next time -- and there will be other times -- but for now, please accept these pictures as a news report only, not a thing of beauty.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever. These pictures will therefore not be a joy forever, so they will be removed when the news value of them is gone. Fair enough -- we do not want to dilute the standards of this web site with inferior material, at least not for long. INDIVIDUAL TOWEL-CLAD PRESENTATIONS
The ten contestants paraded individually on the stage, dressed in a graceful towel leisurely draped over the central part of the body. They were all given a few penetrating questions by the reigning diva and were required to give full and clear answers to each. Some were tempted to try to improve their ranking by offering occasional glimpses of the area hidden under the towel, something that the diva frowned upon whenever she happened to notice it. We have two pictures from this function:
NUDE GROUP APPEARANCE ON STAGE BY ALL TEN CONTESTANTS
While it appeared that each contestant should have been presented individually in his naked glory, this only worked up to a point. Soon the stage was filled with eager contestants, each trying to upstage the others. The reigning diva held on to her reins with a forceful hand, and the will of even the most aggressive contestant was reduced to meekness in the face of this challenge. Nevertheless, as time went on and the judges were too hard at work to notice, the contestants soon started to enjoy each others' presence, and quite flagrant ouvertures could be seen even by the most casual observer. Our camera even caught one instance of resuscitation (of some sort) right then and there. Twenty pictures in all:
RUN-OFF CONTEST BETWEEN THE TWO EVENRANKED TOP SCORERS
Well, as it can happen, two contestants came out on top with the same score, but only one should be Mr Nude Pride. The contestant who could jerk off quickest on stage would win the run-off. They went to work on it, and as good sportsmen they began by helping each other to start off. They labored with fervor and determination, but the jizm just did not emerge. One tried lying on his back, one called in a willing fluffer from the audience -- no sperm whatsoever. The judges finally decided that the macabre writhings on stage could transfer to the audience and the solemn gathering develop into an all-inclusive orgy, something for which the seating had not been planned. So they let Mr Nude Pride 2001 become two in unison, sharing both glory and regalia. Six pictures of this unusual situation:
SENSUOUS ENCOUNTER ON STAGE
The contest was now over, but as an extra fillip, a ten-minute encounter between two migthy hunks, was then graciously offered the audience. As if any more visual stimulation were needed after the tense competition, these professional men with huge hardons approached each other in a sensuous and beautiful display of what lovemaking can all be about. They were dressed in thin boxer lycras which gradually came off, but with or without clothing, they maintained enormous hardons, which they used effectively and appropriately. This was not "sex", only what two horny hunks can possibly do without bringing each other to supreme bliss. We caught ten pictures of this wondrous happening:
A DIVINE PHYSICAL UNION RIGHT THEN AND THERE
Yet another lagniappe was offered, and for those in the audience who see a coupling to completion as the only worthwhile erotic activity this finally fulfilled their day. These two hunks did what most men really want to do, and with feigned obliviousness about the presence of an audience, they moaned and groaned their way to their own personal nirvana.
